Freelance

As a freelance musician, Juliette has enjoyed great success throughout the UK and Ireland. She is currently on trial for positions with the Hallé Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and was previously on trial with Opera North and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, where she was among the final three candidates for the 2nd trumpet chair.

Alongside these trials, Juliette maintains a vibrant and varied freelance career in London and beyond. She has performed, recorded, and toured with leading orchestras, as well as appearing with chamber groups and as a soloist. Recent highlights include touring Japan with the RPO performing the music of Joe Hisaishi under the composer’s direction; performing with the LSO for the first time at the Barbican; recording with Britten Sinfonia and the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge; performing Strauss’s An Alpine Symphony at the Royal Albert Hall with the RPO; performing Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony with the NSOI in Dublin and Cork; and touring Egypt, performing in front of the pyramids with the RPCO and Lang Lang.
